Mark is a life sentenced prisoner now living in the community. During his time in prison he was able to turn his life around and bring it back on track. Leaving behind his career as a chef Mark began to write and comment on issues of social justice; more recently, and with the genesis of this blog he has started to write and comment about prison and criminal justice issues. Mark’s main concern is prison reform through properly funded and staff prisons with the right education options for every prisoner. Mark has been quoted as saying that rehabilitation starts with real education.
Mark is now living in Norfolk where he is a member of two religious groups: a local evangelical church, and a Quaker group. He has two young children who live the other side of the city, and he has regular telephone contact with them.
